Erich discovered his love for carpentry and working with his hands early in life and has found ways to continually develop it through local projects and among friends and neighbors through the years. He spent nine exciting years working as a full-time RN and one year as a 2nd grade teacher before his wife encouraged him to transition into full-time work in the trades. Erich was accepted into the Carpenter's Union apprenticeship program, which gave him the knowledge and experience to move from enthusiast to Journeyman level. He has since served as foreman, general foreman, and project manager, and has not once regretted the decision to pursue carpentry as a profession.
Whether it be building a covered deck, putting up a new fence, renovating an older bathroom, or installing new cabinets, he finds joy in bringing new life to the houses of people around him. At a time when buying a new home is simply beyond the realms of possibility for many, Erich hopes to restore homeowners' love for their current homes by bringing their dreams and visions to fruition.
Erich and his wife Mallory, who teaches French at ETSU, live with their two kids in the Tree Streets of Johnson City.
